Extractions
Dr. Lehman understands that the thought of a tooth extraction often sends shivers down one’s spine. It is associated with pain, recovery, and further dental work to fill in the space and restore dental functionality. Not a favorite way to spend time and resources.
Dr. Lehman is conservative in his approach and tries very hard to save a tooth. Extractions are performed in specific situations where there may be
-
a severe tooth infection or decay
-
impacted wisdom teeth
-
a fractured or damaged tooth,
-
a non-functioning tooth where there is not an opposing tooth to bite against, or
-
if there are extra teeth that need to be removed for incoming ones such as wisdom teeth.
Rest assured, Dr. Lehman and our staff will be with you every step of the way; pre, during, and post procedure to make sure the process is as painless as possible. We will check up on you to make sure you are feeling comfortable and healing properly and we encourage our patients to call with any concerns at all before and after the procedure. Your health and comfort are our number one priority.
